Congratulations Sierra, and congratulations Bryce!

Two names were drawn this week to make up for my being away from the basket last week--Sierra and Bryce! Good job getting your names in there to be drawn!

Tomorrow is the online practice workshop for parents. Watch for the reminder in your email box, and the link (hint: it's the same one we use every week for lessons!). My intention is that this meet-up will help you to help your student get the most from piano lessons. Please let me know you'll be there (if you haven't already), prepare to relax for a bit while we talk about practicing. Feel free to bring a beverage!

Interesting opportunity tomorrow 6-7 pm through UCR Arts, and why was there no practice drawing winner announced?

Tomorrow night, UCR Arts is presenting the piano duo Hocket as part of their Third Thursday arts series. The program is from 6-7 pm, and should be interesting.

HOCKET is the cutting edge piano duo of Sarah Gibson and Thomas Kotcheff. The Los Angeles-based composer-pianists are dedicated to commissioning and performing contemporary music. They discuss their work and their newest project #What2020SoundsLike with Dr. Sheila Bergman, UCR ARTS Director, and Ian Dicke, Composer and UCR Assistant Professor of Music.

Also, you may have noticed that I did not announce a drawing winner this week--I'm in Ojai and left the basket of names in Riverside (oops!), so get ready for TWO winners next week. Happy practicing!

Congratulations Alexa, your name was drawn as this week's practice tracking winner! Alexa really stepped up her practice game this past week, and it paid off! A little something will appear at your house within the next few days.
